At AE Derm the peel type and concentration are selected by MUDr. Helena Závodská based on skin type, Fitzpatrick scale classification and the condition being treated — ranging from superficial glycolic peels for general brightening and maintenance to medium-depth peels for acne scarring, melasma and pronounced photoaging.

Scar Treatment — Laser and LED
Treatment of fresh and mature scars — including surgical, traumatic, acne and hypertrophic scars — using a combination of FOTONA 4D fractional laser and LED phototherapy. Fractional laser creates controlled micro-channels in the scar tissue that stimulate new collagen synthesis, gradually replacing abnormal scar collagen with more organised fibres and improving texture and colour. Belkyra Double Chin Treatment
Injectable fat-dissolving treatment using Belkyra (deoxycholic acid) to permanently reduce submental fat — the pocket of fat beneath the chin responsible for a 'double chin' appearance. Belkyra is the European approved name for the same molecule known as Kybella in North America. The active ingredient destroys fat cell membranes, and once broken down those cells cannot re-accumulate. Permanent Laser Hair Removal (FOTONA)

Digital dermoscopy examination of moles, pigmented lesions and other skin changes using a dermatoscope with archival software. Laser treatment of facial vascular lesions including haemangiomas (benign blood vessel tumours presenting as red or purple raised marks) and telangiectasias (spider veins / broken capillaries presenting as fine red or purple threads on the face). At AE Derm MUDr. Helena Závodská uses the Nd:YAG 1064 nm wavelength of the FOTONA 4D system, which selectively heats oxyhaemoglobin in the abnormal vessels, causing coagulation and collapse without damaging surrounding skin.
