The FOTONA 4D is a signature multi-pass laser rejuvenation protocol delivering four distinct treatment modes in a single session using Fotona's dual-wavelength Er:YAG and Nd:YAG laser system. About this treatment
The FOTONA 4D protocol was developed by Fotona, a Slovenian medical laser manufacturer with one of the longest track records in clinical laser applications. The system houses two laser wavelengths in a single device: Er:YAG at 2940 nm, which is highly absorbed by water and acts superficially with precise ablative or non-ablative effects depending on pulse duration, and Nd:YAG at 1064 nm, which penetrates more deeply into the dermis and subcutaneous tissue…
