Botulinum-toxin treatment for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis), most often of the underarms. At Effect Clinic a starch test first maps the active sweat area, then botulinum toxin is injected to block the nerve signals that trigger the sweat glands, reducing or stopping sweating for around six to twelve months. Treatment of both underarms is 5,000–8,000 Kč depending on the material used.

Laser Vein Removal
Laser and IPL treatment of unwanted facial and body veins — fine spider veins, spider naevi and small haemangiomas. At Effect Clinic the LightSheer laser treats legs and body while IPL treats the face; the light energy is absorbed by haemoglobin in the vessel, which is sealed and then gradually resorbed by the body over four to six weeks. Around 80% reduction is typical after the first session on leg veins, and no bandaging is needed afterwards.
