Removal of moles, skin growths and keratoses using the microprocessor-controlled Dream Pulse III fractional CO2 laser under local anaesthesia. At Effect Clinic a physician first assesses each lesion for suitability — benign growths can be vaporised with the laser, while suspicious moles are excised surgically and sent for histology. Laser removal of one lesion including local anaesthesia is 2,000 Kč, with histology available from 1,500 Kč when needed.
About this treatment
Laser removal of moles and benign skin lesions uses a focused beam of light to precisely vaporise the unwanted tissue layer by layer, with very little impact on the surrounding skin. Effect Clinic uses the Dream Pulse III, a microprocessor-controlled fractional CO2 laser, which gives the operator fine control over depth for clean, controlled removal of growths, raised moles, skin tags and keratoses.
The most important step happens first: a physician examines each lesion to decide the right approach. Benign, clearly non-suspicious growths are suitable for laser vaporisation, performed under local anaesthesia with eye protection in place. Any mole with features that warrant caution is not lasered but instead surgically excised so the whole lesion can be sent for histological analysis — an important safety principle, because laser vaporisation destroys…
The procedure itself is quick. After the local anaesthetic takes effect, the laser removes the lesion and a small dressing is applied, which can usually be removed the next day. Healing follows the normal pattern for a superficial wound: a small scab forms and falls away over one to two weeks, leaving skin that continues to refine over the following weeks. Aftercare is straightforward — keep the area clean, avoid picking the scab, and protect the healing…
