At Effect Clinic the device is programmed to your skin phototype and the chosen target — rejuvenation, pigment or acne — so a single platform can address several concerns. About this treatment
IPL (intense pulsed light) differs from a laser in that it delivers a broad spectrum of light filtered to target specific chromophores in the skin — melanin in pigment spots, haemoglobin in fine vessels, and the deeper structures involved in collagen production. Effect Clinic uses the CyDen i-Pulse, a constant-current 'square-pulse' IPL system that delivers an even, controlled pulse for consistent results across rejuvenation, pigment and acne indications.
At the start the practitioner consults with you and programmes the device to your skin phototype and the chosen goal. In rejuvenation mode the light gently heats the dermis to stimulate collagen, softening fine lines and improving overall skin tone and texture. There is little to no downtime: mild redness or a warm flush is common and settles within hours to a day.
