Maderotherapy is a deep mechanical body massage that, in its device-assisted form at Effect Clinic, uses two complementary tools: a BODY Shape Roller that applies pressure with micro-vibration, and a Roller Ball handpiece with rotating balls that knead and mobilise the tissue. Together they work the subcutaneous tissue vigorously to break down the fibrous structure associated with the dimpled appearance of cellulite, stimulate microcirculation and lymphatic flow to help clear retained fluid, encourage the mobilisation of localised fat deposits, and tone the underlying muscle. The treatment is applied to common problem areas — the arms, back, waist, abdomen, thighs and buttocks — and a typical session lasts around three quarters of an hour. The sensation is that of an intense, firm massage; some areas can feel tender during deep work, and brief redness or occasionally light bruising can follow as a normal response to the mechanical action. There is no recovery period and normal activity resumes immediately. To get the best from the treatment the clinic advises drinking water before and after to support the lymphatic clearance the massage stimulates. Maderotherapy works best as a course rather than a one-off, which is why a package of five sessions is offered at a reduced per-session rate (1,500 Kč versus 1,650 Kč for a single session); cumulative sessions give progressively smoother-looking skin, improved contour and a firmer feel, and results are best maintained alongside a healthy diet, hydration and activity.
