HIFU Non-Surgical Lifting

High-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) lifting on the HIFU••DOT system with a software-controlled InMotion handpiece, used as a non-surgical alternative to a facelift. HIFU (high-intensity focused ultrasound) lifts and tightens skin by delivering focused ultrasound energy to precise depths beneath the surface, where it creates tiny zones of controlled thermal coagulation. These micro-points of energy trigger the body's natural wound-healing response, stimulating the production of new collagen and the contraction of existing fibres so that the skin gradually firms and lifts — a 3D tightening effect — without any incision or removal of skin. Effect Clinic uses the HIFU••DOT platform with an InMotion software-controlled handpiece that allows the operator to select treatment depths from 1.5 mm up to 4.5 mm, the deepest of which reaches the platysma muscle layer that a surgical facelift addresses. The treatment is suited to skin that has begun to sag or lose firmness on the face, around the eyes, on the neck and under the chin, on the décolleté, and on body areas such as the abdomen and limbs. After a consultation to map the areas, the practitioner moves a smooth ultrasound head over the skin with gentle circular motions; the active part of the treatment takes only a few minutes per zone. The skin surface remains intact throughout, so there is no wound and no recovery period — most people return to normal activity immediately, perhaps with brief redness or mild tenderness. Because the result depends on new collagen forming, it is not instant: a subtle initial tightening may be felt early, but the lifting and firming build progressively over the following two to three months as collagen renews, and the effect can last up to around five years. A single treatment is usually sufficient, with maintenance possible later as natural ageing continues.
