Lumps & Bumps Ultrasound
A superficial tissue ultrasound examination for palpable lumps, bumps, or swellings beneath the skin. Identifies cysts, lipomas, enlarged lymph nodes, and other subcutaneous structures. Excludes breast tissue assessment.
Ultrasound Scan
A diagnostic ultrasound scan of a single body region, using high-frequency sound waves to produce real-time images of soft tissues, joints, and internal organs. No radiation is involved. Self-referral is accepted for most scan types, with the report delivered digitally within three working days.
Upper Abdominal Ultrasound
An ultrasound assessment of the upper abdominal organs including liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, bile ducts, and kidneys. Screens for structural abnormalities, fatty liver, gallstones, and organ size variations.
Lower Abdominal Ultrasound
An ultrasound assessment of the lower abdominal organs including the bladder and either the uterus (women, transabdominal) or prostate (men, transabdominal). Screens for structural abnormalities, cysts, and organ size variations.
CIMT Cardiovascular Ultrasound
Carotid Intima-Media Thickness (CIMT) ultrasound is a non-invasive imaging test that measures the thickness of the inner layers of the carotid arteries as a marker of early atherosclerosis and cardiovascular risk. CIMT is associated with predicting cardiovascular events before symptoms develop. Angel Longevity uses CIMT as part of a functional medicine cardiovascular risk assessment at its Studio City clinic.
Full Abdominal Ultrasound
A comprehensive abdominal ultrasound assessment covering both upper organs (liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, bile ducts, kidneys, bladder) and lower abdomen (uterus or prostate, bladder). Includes a doctor consultation to review findings.
Diagnostic Ultrasound Examination (Sonography)
Hello Beauty Clinic runs a dedicated sonography department staffed by two radiology physicians, MUDr. Václava Vicari and MUDr. Jiří Rezek, offering a wide menu of diagnostic ultrasound examinations at a flat 900 Kč each — without needing a GP referral or hospital waiting times. Available examinations include breast ultrasound, thyroid, the full abdominal organ set (liver, gallbladder, pancreas, spleen, kidneys, adrenals, bladder), lymph nodes, salivary glands, soft tissues, groin and abdominal-wall hernia assessment, and axillary/popliteal regions. Ultrasound is radiation-free, painless and non-invasive, making it suitable for routine prevention as well as investigating specific symptoms; the examining physician explains the findings clearly during the appointment.
Ultrasound Examination
Diagnostic ultrasound imaging for musculoskeletal assessment.
Ultrasound Examination
Diagnostic musculoskeletal ultrasound.
Ultrasound (Ultrazvukové vyšetření)
Diagnostic ultrasound at Multiscan Pardubice is performed using the GE Healthcare Logiq 8 XDclear — one of GE's most capable mid-range clinical ultrasound systems, known for its XDclear transducer technology that improves image clarity in challenging patients. Examinations cover abdominal and pelvic organs, Doppler vascular studies, soft-tissue assessment, and cardiac ultrasound (echocardiography). The department is located at the Rokycanova Poliklinika Vektor facility and operates by prior appointment for both insured and self-pay patients. Results are available immediately after the examination.
Abdominal Ultrasound
Diagnostic ultrasound of abdominal organs.
Carotid Doppler Ultrasound
Ultrasound evaluation of carotid arteries to assess blood flow and ischemic stroke risk. Screens for narrowing or blockage of blood vessels. Quick non-invasive test for stroke prevention.
Health 3 - With Ultrasound
Health 2 package with additional ultrasound of upper or lower abdomen.
Ultrasound (Sonography) Diagnostics
Physician-performed diagnostic ultrasound in Carlsbad Clinic's dedicated sonography suite, with immediate findings discussed at the scan. The comprehensive option covers abdomen, kidneys, bladder, thyroid and carotid arteries in a single 30-minute appointment — a broad preventive screen of the organs and major vessels most worth checking. Single-region scans are also available if you only need one area. Because a doctor performs and interprets the scan, you receive findings and recommendations on the day rather than a separate report.
Ultrasound (Sonography / USG)
Ultrasound (sonography) is a non-invasive, painless imaging method that uses high-frequency sound waves rather than radiation to look inside the body in real time. It is used to assess soft tissues and organs — the breast, thyroid, liver, spleen, muscles and blood vessels — and can show movement such as blood flow. The MEDIAG department at 1. poliklinika Karlovy Vary runs three ultrasound workstations equipped with Toshiba Aplio and Siemens Acuson Antares systems, operated by physicians with long experience in soft-tissue scanning. Because no ionising radiation is involved, ultrasound is safe to repeat and suitable in pregnancy. The result is usually discussed with you immediately after the scan, and a report is sent to your referring doctor.
Diagnostic Screening — EKG, Bone Density & Carotid Ultrasound
Hotze Health & Wellness Center runs a comprehensive diagnostic screening suite as part of its new-patient onboarding in the Houston metro area. All new patients receive an EKG to establish a cardiac baseline. Patients aged 40 and over additionally receive a bone density DEXA scan and a carotid artery ultrasound to assess cardiovascular plaque burden. The clinic also offers thyroid blood panels (T4 and antibodies), cholesterol/LDL markers, and VISIA complexion analysis. These diagnostics anchor the personalised wellness plan developed by the clinical team.
