Duration

A comprehensive abdominal ultrasound assessment covering both upper organs (liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, bile ducts, kidneys, bladder) and lower abdomen (uterus or prostate, bladder). Includes a doctor consultation to review findings.
The Full Abdominal Ultrasound provides a non-invasive imaging assessment of the major abdominal organs across both the upper and lower abdomen. This is the most thorough ultrasound package offered by Curitt and is the same imaging component included in the Premium Check-Up, available here as a standalone service for those who want imaging without the full blood panel. The upper abdominal scan evaluates the liver for size, texture, and fat content — fatty liver disease is increasingly common and typically asymptomatic until advanced stages. The gallbladder is checked for stones, polyps, and wall thickening. The spleen and pancreas are assessed for size and structural abnormalities, while the bile ducts are examined for dilation that may suggest obstruction. Both kidneys are imaged for size, cysts, stones, and cortical thickness, and the bladder is evaluated for residual volume and wall integrity. The lower abdominal component covers the uterus (for women, via transabdominal approach) or prostate (for men, via transabdominal approach) and provides additional bladder assessment. The entire examination is performed by or under the supervision of a radiologist, and findings are reviewed during a doctor consultation. The ultrasound is entirely non-invasive, requires no radiation exposure, and typically takes 30 to 40 minutes.
