Skanmex is a private diagnostic imaging centre on Krasińskiego Street in central Wrocław, equipped with both a 3 Tesla and a 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner. This dual-scanner setup allows the clinic to match each patient to the optimal field strength: the 3T for demanding protocols such as MR spectroscopy, multiparametric prostate imaging, endometriosis detection, and whole-body MRI, while the 1.5T handles standard musculoskeletal and spinal examinations efficiently. The clinic offers over 30 distinct MRI examination types spanning neurological, spinal, abdominal, pelvic, and musculoskeletal imaging. Specialized protocols include head MRI with spectroscopy for brain tumour grading, multiparametric prostate MRI for cancer detection, and dedicated endometriosis mapping. Contrast-enhanced studies are available across most examination types. The facility serves both self-pay private patients and those referred through the Polish National Health Fund.
