At FROE extractions are carried out under local anaesthetic, with the option of the computer-controlled Wand system for comfortable injections, and more complex cases are handled surgically by the clinic's oral surgery specialist. A dental CBCT (cone-beam CT) scan produces a detailed three-dimensional image of the teeth, jawbone and surrounding structures, which is essential for planning implants and assessing surgery, impacted teeth and complex root canals. FROE performs CBCT in-house on a Vatech scanner, so imaging and treatment planning happen in one place. The scan is quick, taken standing, and gives the precision that flat X-rays cannot.

Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and shapes the canals and seals them, relieving pain and allowing the natural tooth to be kept rather than extracted. FROE carries out endodontics with a dedicated rotary system, and prices follow the number of canals involved. A tooth that has had root canal treatment is often restored afterwards with a crown for protection.
