FROE's session combines ultrasonic scaling, air-polishing, fluoride application and polishing, using an EMS Airflow system. It is recommended regularly for most patients and is a sensible first step before whitening or other cosmetic treatment.
About this treatment
Even with good brushing, hardened deposits of plaque (tartar or calculus) build up over time, particularly along the gumline and between the teeth, and can contribute to gum inflammation and bad breath. A professional dental hygiene appointment removes these deposits and refreshes the teeth in ways home care cannot, and is one of the most effective everyday measures for keeping teeth and gums healthy.
At FROE a hygiene visit combines several steps.
