Lumbar Spine MRI
MRI of the lumbosacral spine covering L1-S1 discs, nerve roots, and cauda equina. The most frequently requested spinal examination for lower back pain and sciatica.
Single Joint MRI
MRI of a single joint — knee, shoulder, hip, ankle, wrist, or elbow — with a dedicated protocol optimised for that joint's anatomy. Evaluates ligaments, menisci/labrum, cartilage, and bone.
MR Urography
MRI of the urinary tract from kidneys through ureters to bladder. Radiation-free alternative to CT urography for evaluating obstruction, congenital anomalies, and urothelial pathology.
Brain MRI
MRI scan of the head and brain for detecting structural abnormalities, tumours, stroke indicators, and degenerative changes. Contrast agent available at radiologist's discretion for an additional fee.
Brain MRI
Diagnostic MRI of the brain using a Siemens MAGNETOM Sola 1.5T scanner, assessing brain parenchyma, ventricles, meninges, and vascular structures. Suitable for investigating headaches, dizziness, cognitive changes, and screening for intracranial pathology.
Shoulder MRI
MRI of the shoulder joint evaluating the rotator cuff tendons, labrum, glenohumeral ligaments, biceps tendon, and surrounding structures. Essential for diagnosing rotator cuff tears, impingement, and instability.
Lumbar Spine MRI
MRI of the lumbar spine (lower back) covering the five lumbar vertebrae, sacrum, intervertebral discs, spinal canal, and cauda equina. The primary imaging investigation for lower back pain, sciatica, and suspected disc herniation.
Knee MRI
MRI of the knee joint assessing cruciate and collateral ligaments, medial and lateral menisci, articular cartilage, and surrounding structures. The definitive non-invasive investigation for knee injuries and degenerative joint conditions.
MRCP (Cholangiopancreatography)
Magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography (MRCP) providing non-invasive imaging of the biliary tree, gallbladder, and pancreatic duct system. The radiation-free alternative to diagnostic ERCP for investigating biliary and pancreatic duct pathology.
Cervical Spine MRI
MRI of the cervical spine (neck region) assessing vertebral discs, spinal cord, nerve roots, and facet joints from the skull base to the upper thoracic transition. Indicated for neck pain, radiating arm symptoms, and degenerative cervical conditions.
3T MRI Spine
High-resolution 3T MRI scan of any spine section (cervical, thoracic, or lumbar).
3T MRI Knee
Detailed 3 Tesla MRI scan of the knee joint.
3T MRI Shoulder
Detailed 3 Tesla MRI scan of the shoulder joint.
3T MRI Hip
Detailed 3 Tesla MRI scan of the hip joint.
3T MRI Brain
High-resolution 3 Tesla MRI scan of the brain using Philips Ingenia technology.
MRI Neck Soft Tissues (MR krku)
MRI of the neck at Klinika JL images the cervical soft tissues, salivary glands, lymph nodes and vessels using the Philips 3 Tesla scanner with gadolinium contrast, providing fine-detail assessment that ultrasound and CT cannot always match. The high field strength resolves small lymph nodes below the submandibular glands, parotid lesions and subtle infiltration of the pre-vertebral fascia — critical staging information for ENT oncology. Self-pay patients pay 9,000 Kč plus 2,000 Kč for contrast. Open daily 07:00–21:00, the clinic can accommodate urgent head-and-neck oncology referrals that require imaging before the next MDT meeting.
MRI Abdomen
Magnetic resonance imaging of the abdominal region. Contrast optional.
MRI Pelvic Area
MRI scan of the pelvic region. Contrast optional.
Pelvic MRI
MRI of the pelvic cavity including bladder, uterus/ovaries or prostate/seminal vesicles, rectum, and pelvic lymph nodes. Key investigation for gynaecological, urological, and oncological indications.
Abdominal MRI
MRI of the abdominal cavity covering liver, pancreas, kidneys, spleen, and adrenal glands. Radiation-free alternative to CT with superior soft-tissue contrast for organ characterisation.
Whole Spine MRI
Complete spine imaging from cervical to lumbar regions.
Abdomen MRI
MRI of the abdominal cavity covering the liver, kidneys, spleen, pancreas, gallbladder, adrenal glands, and major abdominal vessels. Provides superior soft-tissue contrast for characterising organ pathology without ionising radiation.
Pelvis MRI
MRI of the pelvic region assessing the bladder, reproductive organs, pelvic floor muscles, sacroiliac joints, and surrounding structures. Used for investigating pelvic pain, urological and gynaecological concerns, and sacroiliac pathology.
MRI Placenta (MR placenty)
MRI placenta study at Klinika JL is an obstetric imaging exam performed after 12 weeks gestation when ultrasound findings are inconclusive or when placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) is suspected — particularly in women with a previous caesarean section and anterior low placenta. No contrast agent or ionising radiation is used; the Philips 3 Tesla scanner provides the tissue contrast needed to assess placental attachment depth, uterine wall integrity and bladder involvement. A full bladder at the time of the scan improves delineation of the lower uterine segment. This is one of the most specialised obstetric imaging services available at a private outpatient MRI centre in Prague.
