Platelet-rich plasma (PRP) therapy at AV Aesthetics uses the Arthrex ACP double-syringe system — a clinical-grade extraction device originally developed for orthopaedic and sports medicine that produces a highly concentrated, pure PRP fraction. A small volume of the patient's own blood is drawn, centrifuged using the Arthrex ACP protocol, and the resulting plasma — enriched with the patient's own growth factors — is re-injected into the target skin zones. The treatment may support skin regeneration, reduce the appearance of acne and acne scars, fine wrinkles, under-eye circles, and hyperpigmentation, and stimulate hair follicle activity. Plexr Plus — Plasma Pen Treatment
Plexr Plus is a medical-grade plasma generator that uses ionised gas — plasma — to sublimate skin tissue with extreme precision, removing imperfections and tightening skin without a blade or significant heat transfer to surrounding tissue. At AV Aesthetics, Plexr Plus is used for a range of indications: removing small skin growths, warts, seborrheic keratosis, and xanthelasmas; reducing pigmentation; smoothing wrinkles and perioral lines; and performing a non-surgical eyelid lift that mimics the effect of blepharoplasty. The device combines plasma arc technology, radiochirurgical scalpel function, and pulsed radiofrequency light. Local anaesthetic is applied before the procedure, fine brown crusts form immediately on the treated areas, and these resolve over approximately five days.

Equine Collagen Injections
Equine collagen injections use 100% type I collagen derived from horses — a high-purity, veterinary-grade alternative to bovine-derived collagen — to replenish the structural collagen matrix that diminishes with age. At AV Aesthetics, fine-needle subcutaneous injections deliver the collagen directly into the dermis of the face, neck, décolletage, or hands, where it may support skin elasticity, firmness, and wrinkle reduction. Emla topical anaesthetic is applied as standard to minimise sensation during injection. Belkyra — Non-Surgical Double Chin Reduction
Belkyra (known as Kybella in the US) is an FDA- and EMA-approved injectable fat-dissolving agent whose active ingredient is deoxycholic acid — a bile acid naturally produced by the body to emulsify dietary fat. When injected in a precise grid pattern into the submental fat layer beneath the chin, deoxycholic acid disrupts the cell membrane of fat cells, causing them to break down. The destroyed fat cells are then cleared through the body's lymphatic pathways and do not regenerate, meaning the result is considered permanent once the treated cells are gone. At AV Aesthetics, each Belkyra application takes 20–30 minutes and includes thorough photo documentation, local anaesthesia, and cooling pads before and after injection. Botox — Anti-Wrinkle Injections
Botulinum toxin type A injections at AV Aesthetics are performed personally by MUDr. Anežka Vochtová, a physician with aesthetic medicine certification and years of injection experience. The treatment temporarily relaxes the underlying facial muscles responsible for dynamic wrinkles — horizontal forehead lines, vertical frown lines between the brows, crow's feet around the eyes, perioral smoker's lines, and the uneven texture of an orange-peel chin. The same product is used to significantly reduce excessive sweating in the underarms or the soles of the feet. Each session begins with a personal consultation to assess anatomy and agree on realistic goals. Topical anaesthetic is available if requested. Algeness Dermal Fillers
Algeness is a uniquely formulated injectable dermal filler made from agar — a marine-derived, plant-based gel — rather than conventional hyaluronic acid. Unlike HA fillers, Algeness does not absorb water after injection, which means the result is stable and avoids the temporary puffiness some patients associate with standard fillers. It is fully biodegradable and breaks down naturally over approximately 12 months. The Aptos thread lift is a minimally invasive non-surgical facial lifting procedure that uses absorbable threads infused with hyaluronic acid to mechanically lift and simultaneously hydrate sagging facial tissue. At AV Aesthetics, MUDr. Anežka Vochtová inserts the Aptos threads through tiny entry points under local anaesthesia, repositioning the SMAS layer and deeper tissue upward without any incision. The threads' barb structure grips the tissue firmly on insertion, providing an immediate, visible lift. Over the following months, the threads are slowly absorbed by the body while stimulating collagen production along their path, maintaining and extending the lifting effect. The device uses ozone therapy as a preparatory step to improve cellular oxygenation, then delivers targeted radiofrequency energy to dissolve fatty tissue and simultaneously stimulate fibroblast activity — promoting lymphatic drainage and collagen and elastin production. HArmonyCA — Hybrid Biostimulating Injectable
HArmonyCA is a next-generation hybrid injectable that combines two active substances in a single syringe: hyaluronic acid for immediate volumising and lifting, and calcium hydroxyapatite (CaHA) microspheres for longer-term collagen biostimulation. The HA component provides instant soft tissue augmentation and skin hydration, while the CaHA particles act as a scaffold that stimulates the body's own fibroblasts to produce new collagen, progressively firming the treated area over 12 weeks. At AV Aesthetics, HArmonyCA is delivered via cannula after Emla topical anaesthetic is applied, and is used for facial firming, structural lifting, rejuvenation, and overall skin quality improvement.
