ReCell Body Sculpting & Cellulite Treatment

ReCell is a multi-modal body treatment device manufactured by Winform Medical Engineering in Italy. It combines three physical modalities in one session: ozone therapy for preparatory tissue priming, shock wave stimulation for drainage and fibrolysis, and radiofrequency biostimulation for collagen and elastin remodelling.

The mechanism differs from cryolipolysis or high-intensity ultrasound in that it does not destroy fat cells outright but instead triggers a lipolytic cascade — breaking down the triglycerides inside fat cells while leaving the cell membranes intact. This allows the body to metabolise the released fatty acids through normal lymphatic and vascular pathways. The fibroblast activation component is relevant for skin quality: radiofrequency energy heats the deep dermal layers, stimulating fibroblasts to produce new collagen fibres. This is why ReCell is used not only for fat reduction and cellulite, but also for post-procedural fibrotic tissue (e.g. after prior liposuction or laser) and for loose or crepey skin on the abdomen, thighs, arms, and flanks.
