dental-cleaning
Scaling & Dental Hygiene
A professional cleaning that removes hardened tartar and surface staining that brushing cannot, then polishes and strengthens the teeth. The clinic's combined package pairs ultrasonic scaling with air-polishing to lift coffee, tea and tobacco stains, finished with a fluoride application. Regular hygiene visits are associated with healthier gums and fresher breath, and the hygienist also advises on home-care technique tailored to your mouth.
veneers
Ceramic Veneer
Ceramic veneers are thin, custom shells bonded to the front of the teeth to improve their colour, shape and alignment, mainly for the smile line. At Medin each veneer is made by a dental laboratory and bonded by the dentist for a natural finish. Veneers can address discoloured, chipped, worn or slightly uneven front teeth, and the dentist plans the look with you before any irreversible preparation is carried out.
crowns-bridges
Dental Crown (Porcelain or Zirconia)
A crown is a custom-made cap that covers a damaged, heavily filled or root-treated tooth to restore its shape, strength and appearance. Medin offers porcelain-fused-to-metal crowns and full-ceramic zirconia crowns, the latter prized for a natural, metal-free look. Related restorations such as endocrowns, posts and ceramic inlays are also available, with the dentist recommending the option best suited to each tooth.
invisalign
Orthodontics — Braces & Aligners
Orthodontic treatment to straighten teeth and correct the bite, led by orthodontist Dr Karolina Wiśniewska. Medin offers removable appliances, fixed metal and tooth-coloured braces and clear aligners, choosing the approach to suit the case and the patient's preference. Treatment starts with a consultation and plan, supported by the clinic's on-site cephalometric and panoramic imaging, with regular adjustment visits as the teeth move into position.
prp-prf
Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF)
Platelet-rich fibrin uses a small sample of your own blood, spun to concentrate platelets and fibrin, which is then placed at a surgical site to support natural healing. At Medin it is offered as an adjunct to oral surgery and implant procedures. Because the material is autologous — entirely derived from you — it is well tolerated, and the dentist will advise when it may be helpful as part of a treatment.
consultation
Dental Examination & Consultation
An initial appointment with a dentist to examine your teeth and gums, discuss any concerns and agree a treatment plan. The visit is the recommended starting point for new patients and for anyone weighing up implants, orthodontics or larger restorative work. Where helpful the practice can take an on-site panoramic or 3D scan to inform the plan, and an estimate of costs and likely number of visits is given before any treatment begins.
root-canal
Root Canal Treatment (Endodontics)
Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and shapes the canals and seals them, allowing a tooth that would otherwise need extraction to be kept. Medin uses modern endodontic equipment and warm gutta-percha filling techniques for a dense seal. Pricing is set by the number of canals in the tooth, with separate fees for retreating a tooth that was root-filled previously.
teeth-whitening
Teeth Whitening
A professional whitening treatment to lighten teeth that have darkened or yellowed over time. Medin uses a take-home whitening method following a professional cleaning, where custom trays and a dentist-prescribed gel let you whiten gradually at home under guidance. Carried out after a dental check, supervised whitening is a controlled way to brighten the natural teeth, with the dentist advising on realistic results for your starting shade.
dental-implants
Dental Implant (Neodent)
A dental implant replaces a missing tooth with a titanium post placed in the jawbone, which acts as a root for a crown once it has healed. Medin places Neodent implants, performed by a dentist focusing on implantology, with planning supported by on-site 3D cone-beam imaging. The 3,000 zł fee covers the implant placement; the crown that restores the tooth is quoted separately so you can plan the full cost in stages.
extraction
Surgical & Wisdom Tooth Removal
Surgical removal of wisdom teeth and other impacted or retained teeth that cannot be taken out by a simple extraction. At Medin this is performed by a dentist with a focus on oral surgery and implantology, under local anaesthetic. The procedure is planned with on-site imaging, including 3D scans where useful, to assess the tooth's position relative to nearby nerves and sinuses, and detailed aftercare is provided to support recovery.
extraction
Tooth Extraction
Removal of a tooth that cannot be saved because of extensive decay, fracture, advanced gum disease or crowding. Routine extractions at Medin are carried out under local anaesthetic by the practice's dentists, with the fee depending on whether the tooth has a single root or several. The dentist explains aftercare to support healing and can discuss options for replacing the tooth, such as a bridge or implant, where appropriate.
