The laser energy is selectively absorbed by haemoglobin in the dilated vessels, heating and collapsing them without damaging surrounding skin. MUDr. Irena Hejcmanová treats telangiectasias on the nose, cheeks and chin that are common in patients with rosacea or chronic sun exposure, as well as small haemangiomas and cherry angiomas. Fine lesions frequently clear after one or two sessions.

Preventive whole-body mole screening and pigmented lesion assessment by MUDr. Irena Hejcmanová using manual dermatoscopy and, for concerning lesions, the Canfield Scientific D200evo digital dermatoscope. The D200evo captures high-resolution images of each mole with AI-assisted pattern analysis and stores them for longitudinal comparison at follow-up visits — detecting early changes in pigment distribution, structure or size that are invisible to the naked eye. Patients covered by OZP health insurance (code 207) pay nothing at the clinic for this service.

A thorough dermatovenerological consultation with MUDr. Irena Hejcmanová covering diagnosis and treatment of skin conditions across all age groups — from newborns through to older adults. The appointment combines clinical history-taking with direct examination and, where indicated, referral for supplementary laboratory or imaging investigations. Beyond diagnosing inflammatory and infectious skin diseases, the consultation serves as the entry point for the clinic's corrective and aesthetic dermatology services, with a 200 Kč cosmetic consultation fee credited against any procedure taken on the same day.

Cryotherapy — Liquid Nitrogen Lesion Treatment
Cryotherapy using liquid nitrogen to freeze and destroy benign and precancerous skin lesions at Derma-plus Tábor. The extreme cold — approximately −196°C — is applied briefly to each lesion using a spray applicator, killing the target cells through ice crystal formation while minimising impact on surrounding tissue. The treated lesion blisters and sloughs over seven to fourteen days, leaving healthy skin underneath. MUDr. Irena Hejcmanová uses cryotherapy particularly for senile warts (seborrheic keratoses) and actinic keratoses — precancerous sun-damaged lesions that if untreated can progress to squamous cell carcinoma.

Surgical and Hypertrophic Scar Correction (K-Laser)
Laser correction of surgical, traumatic and hypertrophic scars using the K-Laser Blue Derma diode laser at Derma-plus Tábor. The laser is applied to scar tissue to stimulate collagen remodelling, soften raised or thickened tissue and improve the colour and texture of abnormal scarring. MUDr. Irena Hejcmanová also offers intralesional corticosteroid injection (300 Kč per ampule) for keloid and hypertrophic scars that benefit from combined laser and pharmacological approach. A biostimulation support cycle (100 Kč) can be added to accelerate healing between scar treatment sessions.

Physician-administered botulinum toxin injections by MUDr. Irena Hejcmanová to temporarily relax the facial muscles responsible for dynamic expression lines — including forehead furrows, glabellar frown lines and crow's feet — and to treat underarm hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). For nail fungus, the laser penetrates the nail plate to heat and destroy fungal organisms within the nail bed — an effective drug-free alternative for patients who cannot take oral antifungals or prefer to avoid systemic medication. Targeted removal of pigmented patches and age spots using the K-Laser Blue Derma diode laser, which delivers precise energy to melanin-rich tissue to break down excess pigment and allow the body to clear it over two to four weeks. The treatment addresses solar lentigines (sun spots), post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation and other discrete pigmented patches on the face, décolleté and hands. MUDr. Irena Hejcmanová assesses each lesion dermoscopically before treatment to distinguish pigmentation from potentially melanocytic lesions requiring a different approach.
