MEDEOR laboratoře s.r.o. is an accredited, non-state clinical laboratory in the centre of Přerov and a member of the Vaše laboratoře group. It performs biochemistry, immunochemistry and haematology analyses from blood, serum, plasma and urine for local GPs, paediatricians, specialists and veterinarians — and, importantly for individuals, for self-pay clients (samoplátci) who can order tests directly without a doctor's referral. A key difference from competing laboratories is that the large majority of analyses are performed directly at the Přerov site rather than being shipped elsewhere, which maximises speed and accuracy; routine results are typically available by the next working day. Self-pay clients choose from an extensive catalogue of more than 40 packages — from basic prevention, thyroid, vitamin D, diabetes, liver and kidney panels to cardiovascular-risk, allergy (ALEX molecular testing), fertility (AMH), prostate (PSA), bone-health and prenatal (GenePlanet NIPT) testing — with the blood-draw and sample-separation fees added on top of the listed price. The collection room is wheelchair accessible and needs no appointment except for the glucose tolerance test; it is best to attend fasting between 07:00 and 10:30. The laboratory is listed in the NASKL Registry of Clinical Laboratories for specialisations 801 and 818 and holds Audit II certification under EN ISO 15189.
