ALEX — Molecular Allergy Test

Conventional allergy testing checks one allergen at a time, which is slow and incomplete for people with multiple or unclear triggers. The ALEX (Allergy Explorer) test takes a molecular, multiplex approach, screening a single blood sample against several hundred allergen extracts and individual molecular components at once.

The test measures specific IgE antibodies and total IgE, identifying sensitisation across the major allergen groups: pollens (grasses, trees, weeds), house-dust mites, animal dander, moulds, insect venoms, and a wide range of foods (milk, egg, nuts, fish, shellfish, fruits and more). The sample is processed within the Vaše laboratoře group network, with results returned and available for interpretation by the laboratory team or a referring allergist.
