Dental Consultation with Treatment Plan
An examination with the dentist to assess your oral health, discuss concerns and agree a treatment plan. The practice offers a standard consultation and a more detailed version that includes a written treatment plan — useful for implant, surgical or multi-stage cases and for patients travelling from elsewhere who want a clear costed plan before committing. Any imaging required to support the plan is arranged on site.
crowns-bridges
Crown on Implant (Porcelain / Full-Ceramic)
The visible part of an implant restoration: a custom crown attached to a healed implant via an abutment. The practice offers both metal-ceramic and full-ceramic implant crowns, shaped and shade-matched to blend with the neighbouring teeth. Fitted once the implant has integrated with the bone, the crown restores the tooth's appearance and chewing surface. This is the prosthetic stage that follows implant placement and is quoted separately from the fixture.
veneers
Composite Veneer
A composite veneer is a thin layer of tooth-coloured resin shaped directly onto the front of a tooth to improve its colour, shape or alignment. Built up and sculpted by the dentist in a single visit, it can close small gaps, mask discolouration or reshape chipped or worn front teeth. Because it is applied directly, a composite veneer usually needs little or no removal of natural tooth and is a more conservative, lower-cost alternative to porcelain veneers.

Dental Implant (Alpha Bio / MIS)
A dental implant replaces a missing tooth root with a titanium screw placed into the jawbone, creating a stable foundation for a crown. The practice works with established Alpha Bio and MIS implant systems and plans cases with on-site cone-beam (CBCT) imaging, which helps assess bone volume before surgery. Implant placement and any associated bone work are carried out by a dental-surgery specialist. A separate crown is fitted once the implant has integrated with the bone.
ct-scan
Cone-Beam CT & Panoramic Imaging (CBCT)
On-site digital 3D and panoramic dental imaging using Vatech equipment. A cone-beam CT (CBCT) scan produces a three-dimensional view of the teeth, jawbone, nerves and sinuses, used to plan implants, surgical extractions and root canal cases accurately. A panoramic X-ray gives a single wide view of both jaws. Having imaging in the same practice means surgical and implant cases can be assessed and planned without referral elsewhere.

Porcelain Crown (Metal-Ceramic / Full-Ceramic)
A crown is a custom cap that covers a damaged, weakened or root-treated tooth to restore its shape, strength and appearance. The practice offers metal-ceramic crowns, which combine a metal core with a porcelain surface, and full-ceramic crowns, which contain no metal for a more natural look. Crowns are shade-matched to neighbouring teeth. Where a tooth is badly broken down, a post-and-core may be placed first to provide a foundation for the crown.
dental-cleaning
Scaling & Tartar Removal (Dental Hygiene)
A professional hygiene appointment that removes hardened plaque (tartar/calculus) and deposits from the teeth, helping to keep the gums healthy and prevent decay and gum disease. The practice also offers fluoride varnishing of the whole dentition and pit-and-fissure sealing, which protect tooth surfaces — particularly useful for children. Regular scaling is associated with fresher breath, a cleaner feel and earlier detection of dental problems.
root-canal
Root Canal Treatment (Endodontics)
Root canal treatment removes infected or inflamed tissue from inside a tooth, cleans and disinfects the canals, and seals them to save a tooth that would otherwise need extraction. It is used when decay or injury reaches the tooth's pulp, often relieving the associated pain. The practice carries out endodontic treatment for adults and children, with the cost depending on how many canals the tooth has. A crown is usually recommended afterwards to protect the restored tooth.
extraction
Tooth Extraction
Removal of a tooth that is too damaged, decayed or loose to save, carried out under local anaesthetic by an experienced dental surgeon. The practice handles routine extractions of adult and baby teeth as well as more difficult cases requiring a surgical approach. Patients particularly note the gentle, careful technique. After healing, the gap can be restored with an implant or bridge, which the team can plan as part of the same overall treatment.
extraction
Surgical Wisdom Tooth Removal
Surgical removal of an impacted or partially erupted wisdom tooth — one that is stuck against the neighbouring tooth or trapped in the bone. Carried out by a dental-surgery specialist under local anaesthetic, often after a cone-beam scan to map the roots and nearby nerve. Wisdom teeth are removed when they cause pain, recurrent infection, decay or crowding. The practice's surgical focus makes it well suited to more complex lower wisdom-tooth cases.
