sauna
Infrared Sauna
A 30-minute session in an infrared sauna cabin that uses far-infrared wavelengths to heat the body directly rather than heating the surrounding air. Operating at a lower ambient temperature than traditional Finnish saunas — typically 45 to 60 degrees Celsius versus 80 to 100 — infrared saunas allow for longer, more comfortable sessions while still producing a deep, penetrating sweat. The heat may support circulation, muscle relaxation, detoxification through perspiration, and stress reduction.
cryotherapy
Cryofacial
A 15-minute facial cryotherapy treatment that applies controlled cold air to the face, neck, and decolletage area using a specialised cryo wand. The cold exposure triggers vasoconstriction followed by vasodilation, increasing blood flow to the facial tissue and supporting collagen production, pore tightening, and a brighter complexion. The treatment is non-invasive and requires no downtime, making it a popular addition to pre-event preparation or regular skincare routines.
cryotherapy
Localised Cryotherapy
A 15-minute targeted cold therapy session using a cryo wand that delivers concentrated cold air to a specific area of the body. The localised approach allows the therapist to focus on individual joints, muscle groups, or injury sites that need attention — such as a sore knee, shoulder, or lower back. The concentrated cold penetrates deeper into the targeted tissue than whole-body exposure, making it well-suited for acute injury management, post-surgical recovery support, and chronic pain in specific areas.
red-light
Red Light Therapy
A 20-minute session under LED panels delivering red and near-infrared wavelengths in the 630 to 850 nanometre range. The light energy penetrates skin and tissue to interact with mitochondria, supporting adenosine triphosphate production — the energy currency of cells. This process, known as photobiomodulation, is associated with reduced inflammation, accelerated tissue repair, improved skin tone, and enhanced cellular energy. The treatment is non-invasive, painless, and requires no recovery time.
compression-therapy
NormaTec Compression
A 30-minute passive recovery session using NormaTec pneumatic compression boots that wrap around the legs from feet to hips. The boots inflate in a sequential pattern that mimics the body's natural muscle pump, pushing fluid upward through the lymphatic system. This mechanical compression may help reduce post-exercise muscle soreness, clear metabolic waste products, decrease swelling, and improve venous return — all without any physical effort from the client.
cryotherapy
Whole Body Cryotherapy
A two-to-three-minute session inside Recovery Hub's fully electric whole-body cryotherapy chamber, cooled to between minus 110 and minus 180 degrees Celsius. Unlike nitrogen-based systems, the electric chamber delivers uniform cold across the entire body without exposing the head to inert gas, allowing for a more complete cold-shock response. The rapid temperature drop triggers vasoconstriction, endorphin and norepinephrine release, and activation of cold-shock proteins involved in cellular maintenance. Clients commonly report improved mood, reduced muscle soreness, and better sleep quality after regular sessions.
