MIND Clinic

MIND Clinic is a private multidisciplinary diagnostic centre in Budapest's District II, adjacent to Millenaris Park and the Szell Kalman ter transport hub. The clinic was founded in 2023 under an independent practice community model inspired by DENT Neurologic Institute in New York, bringing together specialists in neurology, oncology, orthopaedics, gastroenterology, and diagnostic imaging under one roof. The centrepiece is a GE Signa Architect AIR 3T MRI scanner, installed as part of a research partnership that makes MIND one of only three GE MR research centers globally (alongside sites in the United States and India). The 3-Tesla field strength delivers roughly double the signal-to-noise ratio of standard 1.5T systems, producing sharper images with finer anatomical detail — particularly valuable for neurological, cardiac, and musculoskeletal imaging. The system supports AI-based diagnostic methods, functional MR diagnostics, and advanced sequences including diffusion tensor imaging and spectroscopy. Beyond MRI, the clinic operates a 256-slice CT scanner, 3D tomosynthesis mammography, DEXA bone densitometry, FibroScan, a full endoscopy suite, and standard radiography. The imaging department is led by Prof. Dr. Barsi Peter, an internationally recognised neuroradiologist, alongside a team of subspecialised radiologists. Reports are delivered within four working days, with no requirement for laboratory tests before MRI — a policy that removes a common delay in the diagnostic pathway. The clinic's scientific advisory board includes neurosurgeons from Zurich and neurologists from Debrecen, and it serves as the official healthcare provider for Ferencvarosi Torna Club. Sedated MRI is available for anxious or paediatric patients. The GE Signa Architect's table supports patients up to 220 kg. Consultations are conducted in Hungarian and English.
