Complete Spine MRI (3T)

A comprehensive MRI of the entire spinal column — cervical, thoracic, and lumbar segments — performed on a GE Signa Architect AIR 3T scanner. The 3-Tesla field strength provides detailed visualisation of intervertebral discs, spinal cord, nerve roots, facet joints, and ligamentous structures across all three spinal regions in a single session.

The Complete Spine MRI at MIND Clinic images the cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine in one continuous session on the GE Signa Architect AIR 3T. The 3T field strength delivers markedly better resolution of spinal cord internal architecture, disc-nerve root relationships, and early degenerative changes compared to 1.5T systems — differences that matter most in the cervical spine where structures are smallest and the clinical stakes of missed pathology are highest. Each spinal segment is evaluated for disc herniations, bulges, and extrusions; spinal canal and foraminal stenosis; facet joint arthropathy; vertebral body marrow signal changes (Modic changes); ligamentum flavum hypertrophy; and spinal cord signal abnormalities including myelopathy. The lumbar sequences additionally assess the conus medullaris and cauda equina. An optional oZTEo sequence supplement (10,000 HUF add-on or 35,000 HUF standalone) provides bone-like contrast using ultrashort echo time imaging — useful for cortical bone evaluation and for patients where conventional CT is undesirable due to radiation concerns. Contrast-enhanced scanning at 179,000 HUF adds gadolinium sequences for post-operative spine assessment, infection, or tumour staging. The sacrum and brachial/lumbosacral plexus can be added as separate examinations if clinically indicated.
