Medifis Clinic's rehabilitation department, running since 2007 across Zlín, Valašské Klobouky and Slavičín, combines hands-on physiotherapy with instrument-based physical therapy and aesthetic reconditioning. Manual care includes the Vojta, DNS (Kolář), Mojžíšová, McKenzie and Bobath methods, soft-tissue and myoskeletal techniques, manual lymphatic drainage and infant physiotherapy. Instrument therapy adds shockwave (rázová vlna), laser, magnetotherapy, ultrasound, electrotherapy, microwave diathermy, Rebox and cryotherapy. The team also fits kinesiotaping and Superfeet insoles, gives podiatric and barefoot-technology advice, and offers medical massage, ACP joint plasma therapy and collagen therapy. Most therapy is one-to-one with a qualified physiotherapist, with a programme built around each diagnosis.

Medifis Clinic treats infected or inflamed tooth pulp with microscopic root canal therapy from CZK 4,500, performed under a surgical operating microscope in every treatment room. The high-magnification view lets the dentist locate and clean all the root canals — including fine or hidden ones that are easy to miss — disinfect the canal system and seal it precisely, which improves the chance of saving the tooth and minimises trauma to surrounding tissue. Most cases are completed in a single visit. Endodontics here is led by a team that pioneered microscopic dentistry in the Zlín region, and a crown is often recommended afterwards to protect the now more brittle, root-treated tooth.

Medifis Clinic's dental hygiene appointment is a thorough professional clean that removes plaque and hardened tartar above and below the gumline, then polishes and disinfects the teeth. The clinic uses Air Flow pneumatic microparticle cleaning to lift stain and biofilm, the non-contact Vector system that clears bacteria gently from periodontal pockets, Helbo photodynamic antimicrobial laser therapy, and ozone application for disinfection. Each visit starts with an examination and a personalised plan, and the hygienist teaches the right brushing and interdental technique for your mouth. A bacteriological test can be taken, sensitive teeth are treated, and a protective splint can be made. The first visit is CZK 1,800, with recall appointments at CZK 1,500.

Oral & Wisdom Tooth Surgery
Medifis Clinic runs a full oral and maxillofacial surgery service led by MUDr. František Slíva, covering surgical removal of impacted wisdom teeth, extraction of fractured or luxated teeth and tooth buds, surgical exposure of retained teeth for orthodontics, apicoectomy with cyst removal, autotransplantation/replantation, periodontal and pre-prosthetic ridge surgery, and treatment of cysts and other lesions. Procedures are performed in an equipped surgical suite under local anaesthesia on an outpatient basis, planned with digital 3D radiography for low radiation dose and precise localisation of nerves and roots. Bone defects after surgery can be supported with the clinic's in-house PRGF growth-factor concentrate to speed healing. Pricing for surgery is quote-based.

Whitening at the clinic lightens both surface and deeper internal discolouration — including tetracycline, fluorosis and nicotine staining, natural age-related yellowing and darkened non-vital teeth — without harming healthy enamel. The dentist assesses your teeth first, often after a hygiene visit so the gel works on a clean surface, and advises on which method suits your starting shade and goals. A fluoride toothpaste is recommended afterwards, and longevity depends on diet, smoking and home hygiene.

For early decay the clinic offers minimally invasive alternatives to the traditional drill: cavity treatment without drilling from CZK 2,500, ozone application at CZK 800 to disinfect and arrest early lesions, and PACT photodynamic caries treatment at CZK 1,500. Treatment is carried out with the clinic's surgical microscopes for precise margins, and the dentist advises which approach suits the size and depth of each cavity.

Designed and milled in the clinic's own CAD/CAM laboratory from a digital 3D scan, the crowns are shade-matched and translucent like natural enamel, with no dark metal margin at the gumline. The same crown completes a dental implant. Because the impression is taken digitally and the restoration produced in-house, fit and aesthetics are tightly controlled and turnaround is efficient, supported by the dentists' microscope-led preparation for precise, well-sealing margins.

Medifis Clinic creates natural-looking ceramic veneers from CZK 12,000 per tooth — thin, custom porcelain shells bonded to the front of the teeth to improve their colour, shape, alignment and proportions. Designed from a digital 3D scan and milled in the clinic's own CAD/CAM laboratory, veneers can close small gaps, mask deep discolouration that whitening cannot lift, and refine chipped or worn front teeth, with minimal removal of natural tooth. The dentists prepare and fit veneers under operating microscopes for precise, well-sealed margins, and because the lab is on site the shape and shade can be controlled closely across a multi-tooth smile makeover.

Medifis Clinic offers PRGF (Plasma Rich in Growth Factors) biotechnology, an autologous regenerative therapy in which a small sample of the patient's own blood is drawn and centrifuged to concentrate the natural growth factors, which are then applied to surgical, extraction or implant sites. Because it comes from the patient's own body, PRGF carries no risk of rejection and is used to accelerate bone regeneration and wound healing, support implant integration, and regenerate tissue after cyst removal. The clinic highlights faster recovery, less post-operative pain and lower infection risk, which makes it especially valuable for diabetics, smokers and patients with healing disorders.
