Medifis Clinic's rehabilitation department, running since 2007 across Zlín, Valašské Klobouky and Slavičín, combines hands-on physiotherapy with instrument-based physical therapy and aesthetic reconditioning. Manual care includes the Vojta, DNS (Kolář), Mojžíšová, McKenzie and Bobath methods, soft-tissue and myoskeletal techniques, manual lymphatic drainage and infant physiotherapy. Instrument therapy adds shockwave (rázová vlna), laser, magnetotherapy, ultrasound, electrotherapy, microwave diathermy, Rebox and cryotherapy. The team also fits kinesiotaping and Superfeet insoles, gives podiatric and barefoot-technology advice, and offers medical massage, ACP joint plasma therapy and collagen therapy. Most therapy is one-to-one with a qualified physiotherapist, with a programme built around each diagnosis.
The rehabilitation arm of Medifis Clinic has operated since September 2007 and is a full physiotherapy and physical-therapy department spread across three sites — the main Zlín clinic plus polyclinic locations in Valašské Klobouky and Slavičín — so patients in the wider region can be seen close to home. Care begins with an assessment of the problem, after which a physiotherapist designs an individual programme that usually blends hands-on (manual) therapy with instrument-based physical therapy, rather than relying on a single modality. On the manual side, the team works with the major neurodevelopmental and movement-based concepts: the Vojta reflex-locomotion method, Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilisation (DNS) developed by Professor Kolář, the Mojžíšová method, McKenzie mechanical diagnosis and therapy, and the Bobath concept, alongside soft-tissue and myoskeletal medicine, Kabat and Klapp techniques, active and passive exercise, and manual lymphatic drainage. Infant and children's physiotherapy is offered, as are sports physiotherapy and children's climbing courses using the clinic's climbing wall. The instrument (physical) therapy room adds extracorporeal shockwave therapy (rázová vlna) for tendon and insertion-point pain, therapeutic laser, magnetotherapy, ultrasound, electrotherapy, microwave diathermy, Rebox, instrument lymphatic drainage and cryotherapy — applied to reduce pain and inflammation, support tissue healing and prepare tissues for exercise. The department also fits and advises on aids and longer-term solutions: kinesiotaping, Superfeet and Pure Barefoot Technology insoles, and podiatric consultation for foot mechanics. On the pharmacotherapy and regenerative side it offers the ACP method (autologous conditioned plasma, a PRP-type injection for joints and soft tissue) and collagen therapy, and on the aesthetic/reconditioning side aesthetic cryotherapy, shockwave treatment for cellulite and medical massage. This breadth means the same team can take a patient from acute pain relief through hands-on rehabilitation to strengthening, return-to-sport and prevention. Typical candidates include people recovering from injury or orthopaedic surgery, those with back, neck or joint pain, post-stroke and neurological patients, infants with movement asymmetries, athletes, and anyone needing post-operative or chronic-pain rehabilitation. Sessions are generally one-to-one; many are delivered under Czech public health insurance, though the clinic does not contract with insurer ČPZP (number 211), so self-pay rates and coverage are confirmed when booking.
