DIE RADIOLOGIE is an independent, owner-managed radiology network spanning more than 20 locations across Munich and Bavaria. The practice partnership comprises 42 specialist physicians led by Dr. med. Philipp Remplik and Prof. Dr. med. Mike Notohamiprodjo, with dedicated cardiac imaging expertise under Dr. Patrick Hein. The network holds German Radiological Society certification as a centre of excellence for cardiac imaging, reflecting deep specialisation in coronary CT angiography, calcium scoring, and cardiac MRI. Their cardiac CT service uses latest-generation multi-slice scanners to visualise coronary artery narrowing and calcification as a non-invasive alternative to catheterisation. Since January 2025, cardiac CT is covered by German statutory health insurance for patients with low-to-medium suspicion of coronary heart disease, making it accessible beyond the self-pay market. Beyond cardiac specialisation, the network provides general CT imaging across all body regions, CT colonography (virtual colonoscopy), and a full range of MRI, PET/CT, nuclear medicine, DEXA, and ultrasound services. Six Munich-area locations are equipped with CT scanners: München Zentrum, ISAR Klinikum, Bogenhausen, Arabellapark, Starnberg, and Fürstenfeldbruck. The München Zentrum location on Sonnenstraße serves as the primary hub and is wheelchair accessible. All locations use dose-reduction technology to minimise radiation exposure. The network also operates centres of excellence in breast diagnostics, musculoskeletal imaging, prostate diagnostics, and neuroradiology.
