Centrum Medyczne Damiana

Centrum Medyczne Damiana opened in 1994 as Warsaw's first private hospital and is now part of the Medicover group. The flagship site at ul. Wałbrzyska 46 in the Mokotów district houses a full private hospital — operating theatres for 3,000+ annual surgical procedures, an outpatient clinic handling ~8,000 procedures per year, and an on-site diagnostic imaging department running CT, X-ray, mammography, and ultrasonography. The CT department offers the complete range of diagnostic CT examinations: head and brain, chest and pulmonary, abdomen and pelvis, spinal segments, cardiac and coronary workup, CT angiography of major vessels, and low-dose lung CT for cancer screening. Both native and contrast-enhanced protocols are available. The scanner produces thin-slice volumetric data with 3D reconstruction capability. CT is available on a private self-pay basis as well as through national health fund (NFZ) referrals for eligible examinations. For international patients, the Individual Medical Care (IMC) branch has operated for over 20 years coordinating care for patients with international health insurance. The English-speaking medical and administrative team manages appointments, result monitoring, referrals, hospital stays, and medical record preparation in English.
