A whole-body CT at Centrum Medyczne Damiana combines sequential imaging of the head, neck, thorax, abdomen, and pelvis into a single extended scanning session, producing a comprehensive volumetric dataset of all major organ systems. The examination is performed on the hospital's CT scanner at ul. Wałbrzyska 46 in Warsaw, using the same equipment and reporting workflow as single-region studies but extended across multiple anatomical territories. The principal clinical indications for whole-body CT at this centre reflect the range of services confirmed on the hospital's CT guide: oncological staging and restaging — assessment of primary tumour extent plus regional and distant lymph node involvement plus solid organ metastases across all body cavities in a single episode; trauma survey — identification of cranial, thoracic, abdominal, pelvic, and spinal injuries following high-energy mechanisms; and pre-operative or pre-treatment mapping in patients who require a comprehensive anatomical overview before complex surgery or systemic therapy. Whole-body CT protocols at Damiana can be tailored to the clinical question. A native (non-contrast) study provides bone and gross soft-tissue detail with minimal radiation-related considerations. A contrast-enhanced study adds vascular and soft-tissue characterisation but requires a four-hour fast, creatinine testing (within the previous month), and a short observation period after contrast administration. Combined native and portal venous phase acquisitions are used for liver lesion characterisation or lymphoma staging. The radiologist's report covers all visualised anatomy systematically and includes 3D reconstructions where these add diagnostic value.
