A two-to-five-minute session in an electric whole-body cryotherapy chamber cooled to minus 110 degrees Celsius. The rapid temperature drop triggers a cold shock response involving vasoconstriction, endorphin release, and activation of anti-inflammatory pathways. Clients commonly report improved mood, reduced muscle soreness, and better sleep quality after regular sessions. The electric chamber provides uniform cold exposure across the entire body without nitrogen gas contact.

About this treatment

AYUN's whole-body cryotherapy session places you inside an electric chamber cooled to minus 110 degrees Celsius for two to five minutes of controlled cold exposure. Unlike nitrogen-based cryotherapy units where the head remains above the chamber, AYUN uses an electric walk-in chamber that delivers uniform cold across the entire body including the head, producing a more comprehensive systemic response.

During exposure, skin surface temperature drops rapidly. The nervous system interprets this as a significant environmental stressor and activates a cascade of protective responses. Blood is redirected from the extremities toward the core, concentrating around vital organs. The body releases endorphins and norepinephrine — a neurotransmitter associated with alertness, mood elevation, and focus. Cold shock proteins are activated, initiating cellular…

When you exit the chamber, peripheral blood vessels dilate and oxygen-enriched blood flows back to the extremities. Many people experience an immediate sense of energy and mental clarity. Research suggests that repeated cryotherapy sessions may help reduce exercise-induced muscle damage, support joint health, improve sleep architecture, and contribute to a more balanced inflammatory response over time.
