AGEL Rádiológia

AGEL Rádiológia is a specialist radiology facility that has operated inside Nemocnica sv. Cyrila a Metoda at Antolská 11 in Bratislava's Petržalka district since 2004. The facility is part of the AGEL Group, one of the largest private healthcare organisations in Central and Eastern Europe, and holds a quality management system certification (SMK/ISO). The CT department runs on a Siemens Healthineers Somatom Perspective 128-slice scanner — the same platform used by leading European academic radiology centres. This configuration supports all standard body-region CT, high-resolution chest (HRCT), CT angiography, musculoskeletal imaging, and guided interventional procedures including nerve root injections (PRT) and ozone therapy. The department covers both adult and paediatric patients. Self-pay prices are published in full on the website and have been effective since 1 May 2026. CT of the head is €85, chest €98.50, abdomen €97, pelvis €112, and CT angiography of the full vascular system €108. Multi-region combination studies (chest + abdomen, or chest + abdomen + pelvis in one session) are priced at €196 and €305 respectively, offering meaningful savings over individual region charges. HRCT of the lungs costs €45 as a standalone study. Contrast agent is billed separately at €24.50 base (volume-dependent). The facility has contracts with all major Slovak health insurers, so referred patients are covered through their insurer; self-pay booking is available for those who prefer to bypass waiting lists. CT appointments run Monday to Friday 07:00–14:30 with on-call cover from 14:30; weekend cover is available around the clock. Results and CD image copies can be collected or posted.
