The signature Frotox application focuses on the face, neck, and scalp. The therapist moves the nitrogen vapour stream across the treatment area in a controlled pattern, rapidly cooling the skin to between 3°C and 7°C. This localised cold exposure triggers vasoconstriction in the targeted tissue, followed by vasodilation as the area rewarms — a cycle that increases local blood flow and may help reduce puffiness and improve skin tone over repeated sessions.
