radprax Vorsorge-Institut is a specialist preventive diagnostics centre located in Düsseldorf Airport City, a two-minute walk from the DUS terminal. Founded in 2007, the institute is part of the Quartz Healthcare Group, which operates 34 radiology, radiation therapy, and nuclear medicine locations with over 1,500 employees across Germany. The centre was named Best Check-Up Centre in Germany by Focus Money and Deutschland Test in both 2025 and 2026, and received the FAZ Institut Industry Leader award in 2025. The facility centres around a Siemens MAGNETOM Vida 3T MRI scanner with BioMatrix technology — one of the earliest deployments of this system globally. Three tiered check-up packages are available: a Premium Whole Body Check combining whole-body MRI with full internal medicine screening across a full-day programme, an Internal Check without MRI, and an MRI-only check for patients who want imaging without the internal medicine component. The Premium programme includes 13 distinct examination stations covering echocardiography, carotid and abdominal ultrasound, ergospirometry, bodyplethysmography, body composition analysis, and laboratory diagnostics with over 65 blood parameters including a cardiac profile, hormones, and tumour markers for men. The international patient office provides visa invitation letters, hotel booking assistance, airport transfers, and interpreter services in German, English, Russian, and Arabic. Private examination rooms include WiFi, television, and en-suite bathrooms. Add-on options include cardiac MRI, breast or prostate MRI, joint MRI, and colonoscopy at a partner clinic. Appointments are typically available within two to three weeks, Monday through Friday.
