LUX MED Diagnostyka is Poland's largest provider of specialist diagnostic imaging, part of the LUX MED Group — a Bupa subsidiary and the country's biggest private healthcare network, with approximately 10,000 physicians, 300 own facilities, and 16 hospitals. The diagnostics brand operates over 70 dedicated imaging centres in 21 cities, applying standardised protocols, shared teleradiology reporting infrastructure, and results delivery through the national Portal Pacjenta platform. The Warsaw Kasprzaka 17 location in the Wola district serves as the network's main Warsaw CT and MRI facility. It offers the complete range of computed tomography examinations: general single-region CT covering head, neck, spine, chest, and abdomen; high-resolution chest CT (HRCT); low-dose lung CT for pulmonary screening; CT angiography of the head, aorta, chest, and abdominal vessels; coronary calcium scoring; and full cardiac CT for coronary artery assessment. All CT examinations in Poland legally require a physician referral under the Atomic Law statute — any doctor in active practice, including a private GP consulted before the appointment, can issue the referral. Appointments are available for both private self-pay patients and NFZ (national health fund) beneficiaries; major private health insurers including Medicover, Allianz, PZU Zdrowie, and Compensa are accepted. Results are returned as a radiologist's written report with images available for download through Portal Pacjenta or on CD on request. The centre operates Monday to Friday with extended hours to accommodate working patients.
