A 20-to-40-minute infrared sauna session in HOT SPOT's dedicated infrared zone, reaching up to 50°C at 10-20% humidity. The infrared cabin uses IR-A, IR-B, and IR-C wavelengths to heat the body directly through radiant energy rather than heating the surrounding air.
The infrared sauna zone at HOT SPOT Saunarium uses a multi-spectrum infrared system emitting IR-A, IR-B, and IR-C wavelengths to deliver radiant heat directly to the body. Unlike traditional saunas that heat the ambient air to extreme temperatures, the infrared zone operates at a more moderate 40-50°C with low humidity of 10-20%, making it accessible to guests who find conventional high-temperature saunas uncomfortable or overwhelming. The infrared wavelengths penetrate the skin at varying depths depending on the spectrum band. IR-A (near-infrared, 780-1400nm) penetrates deepest, reaching subcutaneous tissue and warming muscles and joints from within. IR-B (mid-infrared) targets the deeper layers of the dermis, while IR-C (far-infrared) acts primarily on the skin surface and superficial tissues. Together, these three bands produce a thorough, even warming effect that promotes vasodilation, increases circulation, and induces perspiration at lower ambient temperatures than a Finnish sauna. A recommended session in the infrared zone lasts 20 to 40 minutes. The lower operating temperature allows for longer exposure times compared to the Finnish dry sauna, making it particularly suitable for guests seeking deep tissue warmth, joint mobility improvement, and gentle detoxification through perspiration. The 1-hour entry pass at 55 PLN grants access to all six sauna zones at HOT SPOT, so guests can combine an infrared session with time in the Finnish sauna, herbal sauna, or steam bath within the same visit. Guests with MultiSport Plus or Medicover Sport benefit cards can use these for entry. The infrared zone is available during all opening hours and does not require advance booking — guests simply arrive, check in, and rotate between zones at their own pace.
