What's included
5 deliverables in this treatment
- 50-minute IHHT session with alternating hypoxia/hyperoxia phases
- Continuous blood oxygen saturation monitoring
- Automatic safety adjustment of oxygen levels
- Comfortable reclining position throughout
- Pre-session consultation (first visit)
A 50-minute mask-based session alternating between low-oxygen (hypoxia) and high-oxygen (hyperoxia) breathing intervals to stimulate mitochondrial adaptation. Intermittent hypoxia-hyperoxia training (IHHT) is designed to challenge cellular energy systems in a controlled way, encouraging the body to replace less efficient mitochondria with healthier ones. The session is passive — clients recline comfortably while the system cycles through oxygen levels automatically.
About this treatment
Cryodukt's IHHT Cell Training programme uses intermittent hypoxia-hyperoxia training — a mask-based breathing protocol that alternates between periods of reduced oxygen (simulating high-altitude conditions) and periods of enriched oxygen. Each session lasts approximately 50 minutes, during which the client reclines comfortably and breathes through a mask connected to the IHHT device.
The underlying principle is mitochondrial conditioning. Mitochondria are the primary energy-producing structures within cells, and their efficiency directly influences overall vitality, cognitive function, and physical performance. During the hypoxic phase, oxygen levels drop to simulate conditions at altitude — typically equivalent to 2,000 to 6,500 metres. This controlled oxygen deficit creates a mild stress signal that may trigger the body's natural…
During the hyperoxic phase, oxygen concentration rises above normal levels, flooding cells with oxygen and supporting recovery from the brief hypoxic interval. The alternating pattern — typically 3 to 5 minutes of hypoxia followed by 1 to 3 minutes of hyperoxia, repeated across the session — is designed to create a training effect on the mitochondria without causing sustained oxygen deprivation.

Who is this for?
Individuals interested in supporting mitochondrial health and cellular energy, athletes seeking performance optimisation through altitude-simulation training, anyone experiencing persistent fatigue or low energy, wellness-focused travellers preparing for high-altitude trips, and those building a comprehensive longevity protocol alongside cryotherapy or hyperbaric sessions
Preparation required
No special preparation required. Eat a light meal one to two hours before the session — avoid arriving on an empty stomach. Inform the team of any cardiovascular, respiratory, or blood pressure conditions. Stay hydrated before and after the session. The treatment is passive, so comfortable clothing is recommended.
