Thread Lift (PDO / PLLA Threads)

A non-surgical lift in which absorbable threads are placed under the skin through a fine cannula to mechanically reposition sagging tissue and stimulate new collagen along the thread path. At West Art Esthetic the headline option is a 16,000 Kč 3D cannula thread-lift session performed by MUDr. David Pupala, who is certified in thread and suspension lifts. Lighter options include PLLA thread face modelling at 5,000 Kč and individual mesothreads at 300 Kč each for finer skin-quality work. The threads dissolve over months, but the collagen they trigger continues to support the lift after they are gone.

A thread lift uses absorbable surgical threads — typically PDO (polydioxanone) or PLLA (poly-L-lactic acid) — introduced under the skin through a fine blunt cannula. The threads do two things at once. Cogged or barbed threads grip the tissue and physically lift it into a higher position, giving an immediate mechanical result; and the body's response to the thread material triggers a controlled healing reaction that stimulates fibroblasts to lay down fresh collagen along the thread path. As the thread itself is broken down and absorbed over the following months, that new collagen scaffold remains and continues to support the repositioned tissue. The collagen-stimulating effect builds over the following two to three months, and results generally last from several months up to around 12–18 months depending on thread type, the area and individual tissue.
