Wáberer Medical Center (WMC) is one of Budapest's most comprehensive private hospitals, occupying 3,500 square metres of the Hillside Office Building at Alkotás utca 55-61 in the leafy XII district. With over 160 highly qualified doctors, 120 additional healthcare professionals, and 30 specialist areas across 10 clinical wards, WMC serves more than 5,000 patients per month at its single central location. The facility is ISO 9001 certified and operates extended weekday hours from 06:30 to 20:00 and Saturday mornings. The CT imaging service is built around a 128-slice GE Revolution Evo scanner — the Revolution Evo is the flagship of GE HealthCare's multi-slice CT line and is described by WMC as one of the fastest scanners in the world. The 128-slice architecture produces thin, high-resolution cross-sections across all body regions in seconds, supporting advanced cardiac protocols including ECG-gated coronary CT angiography and coronary calcium scoring. WMC explicitly states the scanner is compatible with pacemaker patients, broadening access to cardiac imaging for this population. Low-dose protocols keep radiation as low as reasonably achievable across all study types. Prices are published transparently on the WMC website in Hungarian Forint. A native single-region CT — any of skull, chest, spine, abdomen, pelvis, or extremity — is 37,000 HUF (approximately €93), making WMC one of the most price-competitive CT providers in Budapest. Contrast-enhanced single-region CT is 64,000 HUF (approximately €160). The dedicated low-dose chest CT for lung screening is also 37,000 HUF and is available without referral provided no chest screening was performed in the preceding 12 months. Coronary calcium score is 67,000 HUF (approximately €168) and coronary CT angiography is 185,000 HUF (approximately €463). CT angiography of single vascular territories — chest, head, neck, or pulmonary — is 98,000 HUF (approximately €245). All imaging results are interpreted by board-certified radiologists.
