VIDIA DIAGNOSTIKA's Fertility I panel is a structured laboratory workup for patients investigating infertility, offered at the Praha 7 GENNET collection site in partnership with the GENNET genetics and reproductive immunology clinic. The basic Fertility I panel covers the foundational reproductive hormones — FSH, LH, estradiol, progesterone, testosterone, AMH and others — required at the outset of any fertility investigation. More comprehensive Fertility II (16,500 Kč) and reproductive immunology packages (up to 18,500 Kč) provide exhaustive molecular and immunological assessment for complex cases.
VIDIA DIAGNOSTIKA's fertility blood panel range provides tiered laboratory investigations for individuals and couples working through fertility assessment, offered in partnership with GENNET — the dedicated reproductive genetics clinic located in the Praha 7 collection site at Kostelní 9. This partnership means that sample collection, advanced immunological analysis and the expertise of GENNET's reproductive specialists sit in the same clinical environment. The Fertility I panel (7,100 Kč) covers the core reproductive hormone markers assessed at the initial fertility workup stage. These typically include FSH (follicle-stimulating hormone, 246 Kč individually), LH (luteinising hormone, 246 Kč), estradiol (263 Kč individually), progesterone (267 Kč individually), prolactin (258 Kč individually), testosterone (267 Kč individually), AMH (anti-Müllerian hormone, 844 Kč individually — the primary marker of ovarian reserve), and DHEA-S (211 Kč individually). The panel price is substantially lower than the sum of individual marker costs, reflecting the bundled laboratory efficiency of processing them together. FSH and LH assess the hypothalamic-pituitary-gonadal axis: elevated day-3 FSH suggests diminished ovarian reserve in women, while an elevated LH:FSH ratio points toward polycystic ovary syndrome. Estradiol on day 3 of the menstrual cycle complements FSH interpretation. AMH has become the preferred ovarian reserve marker because it is cycle-day-independent and stable — it can be drawn on any day of the menstrual cycle. Progesterone drawn in the mid-luteal phase (day 21 in a 28-day cycle) confirms ovulation. Prolactin elevation (hyperprolactinaemia) can suppress the hypothalamic-pituitary axis and cause anovulation and luteal phase defect even at levels modestly above normal. For male-factor investigation, individual markers including total testosterone, free testosterone, FSH, LH, prolactin, SHBG and estradiol are available from the same VIDIA price list. VIDIA also offers sperm DNA fragmentation analysis (TUNEL method, 3,000 Kč) and sperm quality cytometric analysis (2,500 Kč) — relevant when standard semen analysis is normal but unexplained infertility persists. The Fertility II panel (16,500 Kč) and Sterility II panel (16,900 Kč) extend the investigation into reproductive immunology: antisperm antibodies, anti-ovarium antibodies, natural killer cell immunophenotyping, antiphospholipid markers and broader autoimmune markers implicated in implantation failure. The Complete Reproductive Immunology panel (18,500 Kč) is the most exhaustive option, covering all known immune-mediated pathways associated with recurrent pregnancy loss and implantation failure. The Praha 7 GENNET collection site is open Monday to Thursday 07:30–17:00 and Friday 07:30–15:00, providing extended afternoon access compared to most VIDIA sites. Hormonal panels that require cycle-day-specific timing (day 3 FSH/LH/estradiol, mid-luteal progesterone) should be booked accordingly.

What's Included
Preparation Required
Cycle-day-dependent markers (FSH, LH, estradiol) should be drawn on day 2–4 of the menstrual cycle. Progesterone for ovulation confirmation should be drawn around day 21 (mid-luteal phase). AMH can be drawn on any day. Fast for 12 hours if metabolic markers are added to the panel. Bring a physician referral form and health insurance card to the Praha 7 GENNET collection site.
