High-Intensity Pulsed Electromagnetic Field Therapy (PEMF)

Type

PEMF Therapy

Duration

20 min

What's included

3 deliverables in this treatment

  • Pre-session health assessment
  • PEMF therapy session
  • Protocol adjustment based on response

High-intensity PEMF uses pulsed electromagnetic fields to penetrate deep tissues, stimulate muscle contractions, enhance circulation and relieve chronic musculoskeletal pain — applied conveniently through clothing.

About this treatment

High-Intensity Pulsed Electromagnetic Field (PEMF) Therapy at The Longevity Science Centrum employs powerful pulsed electromagnetic fields to reach deep muscles, joints, and nerves — areas that surface-level treatments often cannot access. Unlike low-intensity PEMF mats, the high-intensity devices at the clinic generate fields strong enough to induce involuntary muscle contractions, similar in effect to intense physical exercise but achieved passively.

The electromagnetic pulses interact with cell membranes and ion channels, improving cellular permeability and facilitating the exchange of nutrients and waste products. This enhances local circulation, reduces inflammation, and promotes tissue regeneration. The therapy has been used extensively in sports medicine and rehabilitation for its ability to accelerate fracture healing, reduce chronic pain, and restore functional muscle strength.

The Longevity Science Centrum uses PEMF to address a broad spectrum of conditions: acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain, muscle weakness and tension, joint stiffness, neuropathic pain, stress fractures, and even pelvic floor conditions such as urinary incontinence and erectile dysfunction. The treatment is delivered through applicators placed over clothing, making sessions comfortable and accessible for clients of all fitness levels.
