Compared with a conventional full denture, these implant-borne designs improve stability and comfort and reduce or eliminate acrylic coverage of the palate. Care is straightforward but important: the restoration should be brushed at least twice a day and a water irrigator is recommended to keep the implant–prosthesis junctions clean and lower the risk of infection.
