The Intensive Detox IV is formulated to support the liver's phase I and phase II detoxification pathways through multiple complementary mechanisms. Glutathione and N-acetylcysteine (its direct precursor) are central to hepatic conjugation reactions — the process by which the liver converts fat-soluble toxins into water-soluble compounds that can be excreted via bile and urine. S-adenosylmethionine (SAMe) provides methyl groups for the methylation pathway, another key route of hepatic detoxification, and also supports mood regulation and joint health. Vitamin C and coenzyme Q10 contribute antioxidant protection, scavenging the free radicals generated as a byproduct of detoxification enzyme activity. The B-complex with additional niacin (B3) supports the NAD-dependent enzyme reactions involved in phase I oxidation. L-theanine — an amino acid found naturally in tea leaves — promotes a calm, focused state by modulating GABA and glutamate neurotransmission, which helps offset the restlessness or irritability that some individuals experience during active detoxification. Trace elements round out the formulation by supplying the mineral cofactors that detoxification enzymes require. This drip is the broadest standard formulation available in-clinic at SENSOR23 and is administered under full physician supervision with pre-procedure health screening, continuous vital monitoring, and sterile disposable equipment.
