The LED face mask at Ritual Biohacking is a targeted photobiomodulation treatment designed specifically for the face and neck. The mask sits comfortably over the face and emits controlled wavelengths of light — typically a combination of red, near-infrared, and sometimes blue or amber — directed at the skin surface from close range.
Because the LEDs are positioned millimetres from the skin, the light delivery is more concentrated than standing in front of a full-body panel. This proximity allows for effective photon absorption even at lower power outputs, making it a gentle yet focused treatment.
Red and near-infrared wavelengths penetrate the skin to reach the dermis, where they interact with fibroblasts — the cells responsible for producing collagen and elastin.
