A 3T ultra-high-field brain MRI providing detailed neurological imaging for headaches, dizziness, movement disorders, memory concerns, and screening for neurodegenerative conditions. The scan produces high-resolution images of brain structures, white matter tracts, and intracranial vasculature. AI-assisted brain volumetry is available as an add-on, comparing regional brain volumes against age and gender-matched reference data for early detection of volume loss patterns.

The brain MRI at Primenostics leverages 3T field strength to achieve superior spatial resolution in neurological imaging compared to standard 1.5T systems. The protocol covers the full brain parenchyma, cerebral and cerebellar structures, brainstem, and intracranial vascular anatomy. Indications range from investigation of persistent headaches and vertigo to screening for structural abnormalities, multiple sclerosis plaques, inflammatory conditions, and space-occupying lesions. An optional AI-assisted brain volumetry analysis can be added to the standard brain MRI protocol. This quantitative assessment measures the volume of individual brain regions — including the hippocampus, cortical lobes, and subcortical structures — and compares them against normative databases stratified by age and sex. Deviations from expected volumes may indicate early neurodegenerative processes years before clinical symptoms become apparent, providing a window for intervention and lifestyle modification. The double-couch system is particularly beneficial for brain MRI patients, as preparation and head coil positioning occur outside the scanner room.
