The cornerstone of Plunge Club's heat conditioning offering is a large-format traditional Finnish sauna capable of comfortably seating 30 or more people simultaneously — a scale that is rare among Singapore's wellness venues and that enables both social sessions and a genuine communal sauna culture. Finnish sauna operates on dry heat principles with löyly (steam bursts from water poured over hot stones) available to elevate humidity and perceived temperature as desired. Regular sauna use at temperatures of 80–100°C is associated with cardiovascular conditioning, improved heat shock protein expression, reduced all-cause mortality in long-term observational studies, and enhanced parasympathetic recovery. At Plunge Club, the sauna is used in conjunction with the adjacent cold plunge pools (4°C and 8°C) for contrast therapy: typically cycling through 15–20 minutes of heat followed by 2–5 minutes of cold immersion and a rest period in the recovery lounge, repeated two to three times per session. Sound bath events, DJ sessions, and guided breathwork are periodically held within or adjacent to the sauna space, adding a communal and sensory layer to the recovery experience. Single-visit all-access passes start at SGD 52; monthly memberships from SGD 189 (off-peak) or SGD 249 (unlimited all-access). The 14-day introductory trial at SGD 99 is the lowest-barrier entry point for first-time visitors.
