Zoom WhiteSpeed uses a 25% hydrogen-peroxide gel activated by a blue LED lamp with adjustable intensity. The light accelerates the breakdown of peroxide into reactive oxygen, which penetrates enamel and oxidises the pigmented organic compounds responsible for yellowing — from coffee, tea, red wine, tobacco, and natural age-related darkening.
