A focused men's-health check combining a clinical examination of the prostate and testes by the oncologist with ultrasound imaging. It is a partial preventive examination for men who want these areas checked specifically rather than as part of a full screening — for reassurance, because of a family history of prostate or testicular cancer, or to assess a noticed change. The testicular and inguinal-node ultrasound is radiation-free and carried out by the clinic's imaging partner MEDIGRAFO s.r.o. PSA-based blood markers can be added; findings are explained on the day.

The Targeted Prostate and Testicular Examination is a stand-alone men's-health check for those who want these areas assessed specifically, outside a full preventive screening. It pairs a clinical examination by the oncologist — including assessment of the prostate and a careful examination of the testes and the surrounding inguinal (groin) lymph nodes — with ultrasound imaging of the testes and inguinal nodes, which is painless and uses no ionising radiation. Together the hands-on examination and the scan give a clearer picture than either alone, and the oncologist provides an individual risk assessment based on the findings and the patient's personal and family history. At Onkologie Bona Dea the ultrasound is provided by the partner imaging practice MEDIGRAFO s.r.o., and the visit is short — typically around half an hour. Where prostate cancer risk is the concern, the examination is often combined with the clinic's prostate blood markers: PSA with free PSA and their ratio, or the more refined Prostate Health Index (PHI), which help to decide whether further investigation is warranted. The oncologist explains the findings and any recommendation on the day, whether that is reassurance, an interval for the next check, or referral for further assessment. This targeted check suits men who want focused peace of mind, those with a family history of prostate or testicular cancer who want closer monitoring, younger men wanting a testicular check, and anyone who has noticed a change and wants it assessed. It can be taken alone or as part of the clinic's wider preventive programme.
