Type
Consultation
Duration
1 hour
A standalone 60-minute examination and consultation with the clinic's oncologist. It covers a detailed, risk-focused medical and family history, a clinical examination and an individual cancer-risk assessment, with advice on which preventive screening or specific tests would be appropriate. It serves as the entry point to the clinic's preventive programme and as the anchor service of the oncological screening. A shorter 800 Kč follow-up visit is available for reviewing results or re-examination. Care is provided personally by MUDr. Barbora Dolečková, a clinical oncologist with more than twenty years' experience.
The Oncologist Examination and Consultation is a full, unhurried hour with MUDr. Barbora Dolečková, the clinic's founder and a clinical oncologist with more than twenty years' experience including thirteen years at Brno's Masaryk Oncology Institute. It is the natural first step for anyone considering cancer-prevention screening, and it is the billable anchor around which the clinic's oncological preventive examination is built. The appointment centres on understanding the individual's risk. The oncologist takes a detailed personal medical history and a careful family history — who in the family has had cancer, of what type and at what age — because a family history of cancer is one of the strongest reasons to screen earlier and more thoroughly. A clinical examination is performed, and the doctor discusses the person's concerns, explains what the various preventive options involve, and gives an individualised assessment of risk. From this, she recommends an appropriate plan: which screening package fits best, which tumour markers or imaging are worth adding, and how often to return. Because everything is explained in plain terms, patients leave understanding both their risk and the reasoning behind the suggested tests. The consultation suits people who want expert guidance before committing to a full screening, those with a family history of cancer who want to know how closely they should be monitored, and anyone wanting a second opinion on prevention. A shorter 800 Kč follow-up consultation (30 minutes) is available for reviewing test results, discussing findings or a brief re-examination. This is a preventive and advisory service for people without active symptoms; where complaints are already present, the oncologist will direct the patient to appropriate diagnostic care. All consultations are self-pay and conducted in Czech.
