ClearLight infrared saunas use True Wave heaters that emit across the full infrared spectrum — near, mid, and far wavelengths — rather than the single far-infrared band used by many commercial units. This full-spectrum approach means different tissue depths receive infrared energy simultaneously: far infrared penetrates the skin surface to promote sweating, mid infrared reaches deeper soft tissue, and near infrared wavelengths penetrate to the deepest…
The operating temperature of 45-60°C is considerably lower than a traditional sauna's 80-100°C, yet the infrared energy heats the body directly rather than heating the surrounding air. Many users find this produces a deep, comfortable sweat without the oppressive air temperature of a conventional sauna. The standard cabin at Octane accommodates one person comfortably, with the option to add a second person for an additional EUR 15.
The session includes fifteen minutes for showering and refreshing in the cabin's private shower, bringing the total appointment to approximately forty-five minutes. Chromotherapy — coloured light therapy — is integrated into the cabin with fifteen colour presets.
