CT Scan

Type

CT Scan

Duration

30 min

Native (no-contrast) CT of a single body region — brain, sinuses, chest, abdomen, pelvis, neck, or extremity. Prices range from EUR 175 (neck or limb) to EUR 215 (chest) and EUR 375 (abdomen + pelvis), performed on one of five CT scanners at Bratislava's most advanced private hospital. A written physician referral is required for all radiology examinations.

CT scanning at Nemocnica Bory is performed on one of five CT units, making this the most densely equipped CT department in any private hospital in Slovakia. The fleet supports the full spectrum of diagnostic CT examinations — native (no-contrast) and contrast-enhanced studies, CT angiography, CT-guided interventions, and virtual colonoscopy — with published self-pay prices valid from February 2026. Native CT examinations are priced by anatomical region examined. Single-region studies of the brain or sinuses are EUR 185; the chest is EUR 215; the neck EUR 175; pelvis EUR 195; and a combined abdomen plus pelvis EUR 375. Multi-region combinations are available in a single booking — chest, abdomen, and pelvis together is EUR 575, and the full neck-to-pelvis survey EUR 695. Muscular extremity CT (arm or leg) is EUR 135, making it among the most affordable CT options at the facility. Bory's radiology team interprets all studies in-house, with reporting turnaround typically same-day or next-day for outpatient studies. The department operates within a hospital that also houses oncology, orthopaedics, traumatology, internal medicine, and intensive care — meaning complex findings can be followed up without leaving the campus. Booking is by phone through the contact centre on +421 950 105 510, weekdays 07:00–16:00. A written referral from a doctor (with stamp and signature) must be brought to the appointment — without it the examination cannot proceed. Self-pay patients without Slovak health insurance can attend but must still bring a physician's referral. The hospital is located in Lamač, western Bratislava, adjacent to the Bory shopping district. Public bus connections run directly from the city centre, and parking is available on campus. The radiology reception is open weekdays from 07:00.
