Type
CT Angiography
Duration
45 min
Contrast-enhanced CT angiography of a named vascular territory — cerebral, carotid, aorta, abdominal vessels, peripheral arteries of the upper or lower limb, or multi-region combinations. Prices range from EUR 345 (limb vessels) to EUR 425 (carotid + brain, or aorta), EUR 585 (abdomen + pelvis vessels), and EUR 765 (chest, abdomen, and pelvis combined). Stroke-protocol CT angiography is also available.
CT angiography (CTA) at Nemocnica Bory delivers high-resolution images of arterial and venous structures using timed intravenous contrast injection synchronised with the CT scan. The technique is the primary non-invasive method for evaluating atherosclerotic disease, aneurysm, stenosis, dissection, and vascular malformations across all body regions. The published angiography price list covers a broad range of vascular territories. Cerebral CT angiography — imaging the intracranial vessels to detect aneurysms, arteriovenous malformations, and vasospasm — is EUR 385. CT angiography of the brain and carotids combined (neck-to-head vascular survey) is EUR 425. Aortic angiography (abdominal aorta) is EUR 425; combined abdomen and pelvis vessels EUR 585; and the comprehensive chest, abdomen, and pelvis CTA EUR 765. Peripheral vascular CT angiography for limb vessels — upper or lower extremity — is EUR 345 per limb territory. This covers runoff studies from the aortic bifurcation to the foot vessels or from the subclavian to the hand, useful for peripheral arterial disease assessment and pre-interventional planning. Stroke-protocol CT angiography — rapid multi-phase imaging of the cerebral and neck vessels used in acute stroke triage — is available at EUR 395 per protocol (single-phase) or EUR 395 for the three-phase stroke protocol. This is typically ordered by emergency physicians; self-pay elective booking for stroke risk screening uses the standard cerebral CTA protocol. All CT angiography studies require a written physician referral. Creatinine levels and contrast allergy history should be confirmed before the appointment. Results are reported by a radiologist and typically available same-day for booked outpatient studies.
